We were just 16 years old when we met while spending our summer in EMT school. Monica had the biggest crush on Jerold, while Jerold thought Monica was a brat and “too popular for him.” Somehow, we became best friends.
Our friendship followed us into the hospital, where coffee breaks, sweet treats, sleepless nights, and countless conversations brought us even closer. Years later, a random “Hey, whatcha up to?” text from Jerold gave Monica the perfect chance to finally shoot her shot. One ride home later and the rest was history.
Since then, we’ve built a beautiful life together—Jerold became a police officer, Monica became an RN, and we welcomed our two beautiful girls.
From best friends at 16 to building a family together, we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with those we love.
